Qualities smooth surface:
- 102-F. Quality 142-F. Very slow filtration equivalent to Whatman 2v,
- exhibits high particle retention. It is commonly used in laboratory
- analysis of agricultural soils. It can also be used in soil contamination
- controls. Retention of particles larger than 2 microns.
- 113-F. Medium-Fast Filtration, used for routine analytical laboratories.
- Retention of particles larger than 6 microns.
- 180-F. Fast filtration. It is the most common type of filter used for
- qualitative analysis in laboratories. Retention of particles over 10
- microns.
- 600-F. Super Fast Filtration which makes it especially suitable for the
- filtration of high viscosity liquids (syrups, oils, essences). Heavy
- weight paper recommended for gelatinous precipitates retention.
- Retention of particles over 50 microns.
Qualities creped surface:
- 70-FC. Fast Filtration equivalent to Whatman 114V. Low grammage
- filter paper. Used in the filtration of viscous products with a high content

Hydrophilic nature, has a very low protein adsorption. Is the ideal filter for clarification of biological fluids, filtration of enzymes, cell culture media ... and, in general, all those applications in which the maximum recovery of proteins.

Being used alone or as prefilter of microfiltration membra- nes, these special filters offers an excellent flow, high loading capacity and even with particles retention lower than 1 mm.There are several fields of applications from water or air pollution control till food & beverages industries.
Qualities:
- FV-110. Very recommended for the air pollution controls. Presents a good flow filtration speed and high dirt holding capacity. Often it is used at the laboratories of manufacturers for retention of yeasts.
- FV-120. Filter of high grammage and thickness recommended for the filtration of liquids with very fine particles in suspension. Very high dirt holding capacity. FV-130. It is the grade most recommended for the account of particles in suspension at municipal water treatment plants. Frequently used as well as filter to retain cells on biochemical trials.
- FV-140. High grammage it is recommended as prefilter of filter membranes due its high flow and the big capacity to retain large quantity of particles. FV-150. It is the grade with lower micron rating. It is capable to retain particles up to 0,7 microns. Very recommended for the filtration of proteines and very fine precipitates. It is communly used as prefilter of liquids before to be analized through HPLC devices.

Dorsan® Steripap is a high purity paper made with alpha- cellulose fibers, free from all environmental contaminants.
